Yoco is a South African payment processor for securely processing credit card transactions online.

Credit card information is tokenized and only the token, transaction reference and amount is transmitted. This adds an additional layer of security for online payments.

Why would I need Yoco?

If you need to accept credit cards using your Yoco merchant account as a form of payment on your site, then the Yoco payment module would be for you.

This payment module allows you to quickly add a new payment method to your WHMCS install by simply unzipping the files to your modules directory. Once you have successfully installed the module, you will have a new Payment Gateway available in your Admin section of WHMCS. Simply click on Yoco and configure with your Live and Test API credentials. When your client is on their invoice and selects Yoco from the dropdown box of payment options they will be presented with a "Pay with Yoco" button. Clicking on that button will pop up a screen requesting credit card information (which is tokenized using Javascript). The customer interface is sleek and easy to use, it will surely increase the customer experience by making allowing payment of your invoices to be so much easier.

Invoices paid with Yoco are immediately marked as paid and the transaction (including transaction fee) is logged. This payment module supports 3D secure to further increase security of transactions processed by this module. Yoco does not support subscription/recurring billing (this feature will be implemented if/when supported by Yoco).

Last but not least. A benefit for merchants is that Yoco provides you with some of the lowest credit card processing fees in South Africa and automatic settlement of payments to your bank account within 2-3 days.
